The final policy and any consent banner must match the cookies and trackers actually present on the production site. No analytics or advertising service should be added silently.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser or device. They can support functions such as sessions, security, preferences and, where used, analytics or marketing.
2. Strictly necessary functionality
The Django store uses session and security mechanisms required for features such as the shopping cart, currency preference, language handling and protection of submitted forms. These functions may rely on cookies or similar browser storage that are necessary for the service requested by the user.
3. Third-party services
The project integrates external payment and delivery services, including Stripe, PayPal and pickup-point tools. Their pages, widgets or services may process technical information according to their own configurations and privacy/cookie information. A production cookie audit will record exactly what is loaded and when.
4. Optional cookies and consent
If LuxStash later uses non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies that require consent, they should not be activated until the user has made the required choice. The site will then provide appropriate controls for changing that choice.
